Deborah has been a Registered Psychologist since 1983. She brings passion, experience and wisdom to her counselling sessions. She believes in treating the whole person and empowering you to heal at the deepest level. Deborah is known for her insight and intuitive ability to facilitate healing and with the exceptional team at Innovations, she practices an integrative approach to challenging health conditions. These include chronic pain, chronic illness, adjustments following diagnosis, trauma and PTSD, grieving lost aspects of self, reclaiming lost control, psychological preparation for surgery and other complex medical issues that have impacted your resilience and ability to experience quality of life.

We all aspire to experience ‘wellness’ in our life. Holistic philosophies would say that our mind, body and spirit are inextricably connected and affecting each other on levels that may not be in our conscious awareness. Just as health is not simply the absence of disease, healing also implies that there is a journey involved that has the intention of integrating all of these components to achieve balance, wholeness and overall wellness.

To this end, Deborah is becoming certified by the Deepak Chopra Center for Wellbeing to teach programs for Mind-Body Healing with her clients. She has created the Journey Toward Healing Series, monthly seminars teaching the principles of healing and integration of mind, body and spirit. In our work together, you will combine the healing power of your mind, with the wisdom of Eastern and Western Medicine. It is her privilege to be a partner in your journey
